FARM RULES AND GUEST GUIDELINES

Thank you for visiting Blissful Blooms Flower Farm. Our goal is to create a beautiful, peaceful, and memorable experience for every guest while protecting the flowers and farm that make these events possible.

By purchasing a ticket or reservation, entering the property, or participating in any activity at Blissful Blooms Flower Farm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Farm Entry & Assumption of Risk

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm is a working farm. Natural and agricultural hazards exist throughout the property, including but not limited to:

  • Uneven ground

  • Mud, holes, and slippery surfaces

  • Irrigation lines and farm equipment

  • Bees, wasps, mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects

  • Pollen and other natural allergens

  • Changing weather conditions

  • Wildlife

By entering the property, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with visiting the farm and participating in any activities.

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm, its owners, employees, volunteers, instructors, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, theft, or damage to persons or personal property except where required by applicable law.

2. General Farm Rules

To help protect our flowers and ensure every guest has an enjoyable visit, we ask everyone to follow these rules.

Respect the Flowers

  • Pick flowers only if your ticket includes flower picking or you have purchased a U-Pick add-on.

  • Only harvest the quantity included with your reservation.

  • Do not enter flower beds or walk through planted rows.

  • Do not damage plants, irrigation lines, supports, or farm equipment.

Guests may be charged for intentional damage to crops or property.

Stay Within Visitor Areas

Guests must remain within designated visitor areas unless accompanied by a staff member.

Farm buildings, production areas, equipment, and machinery are not open to the public.

Children

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Please follow any published age restrictions for specific events.

Pets

Pets are not permitted on the property.

Registered service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.

Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs

Alcohol, smoking, vaping, cannabis, and illegal drugs are prohibited anywhere on the property.

Guests who appear intoxicated may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.

Clothing & Footwear

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking outdoors on uneven terrain.

Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

We also recommend bringing:

  • Water

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

Parking

Parking is limited.

Please park only in designated parking areas and follow staff directions.

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm is not responsible for theft of or damage to vehicles or their contents.

Washroom

A portable washroom is available on-site.

Lost Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Guest Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any guest who:

  • Behaves in an unsafe or disruptive manner

  • Uses abusive language toward staff or other guests

  • Damages flowers or farm property

  • Fails to follow posted rules

Guests removed from the property for misconduct will not receive a refund.

3. Photography & Media

Personal photography is encouraged.

Professional photography sessions require a Photography Session booking.

Commercial photography, advertising, workshops, or filming require prior written approval.

By attending public events, guests acknowledge that photographs or videos may be taken for promotional purposes by Blissful Blooms Flower Farm.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please notify a staff member upon arrival.

4. Weather

All events take place outdoors.

Weather conditions can change quickly.

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm reserves the right to delay, cancel, reschedule, or modify any event due to weather, unsafe field conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Each event has its own cancellation and weather policy, as outlined on its booking page.

5. Event-Specific Rules

Paint Night in the Dahlias

  • Minimum purchase of two tickets per order.

  • One parking space is included per order.

  • One ticket admits one guest.

  • Please wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on.

  • Bug spray is recommended.

  • Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.

  • Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest by emailing us before the event.

  • If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, it will be rescheduled to the published rain date.

Date Night in the Dahlias

  • Admission includes two guests.

  • One parking space is included.

  • One reserved picnic table is provided for the scheduled time.

  • Please arrive no more than five minutes before your reservation.

  • Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, games, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Flower picking is limited to the included mason jar unless additional flowers have been purchased.

  • Reservations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another couple by emailing us in advance.

  • Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled or issued as farm credit.

Picnic in the Dahlias

  • Each reservation includes:

    • One reserved picnic table

    • Admission for up to four guests

    • One parking space

    • One mason jar for flower picking

  • A maximum of six guests are permitted per picnic table.

  • Additional guests must purchase an Admission Ticket through the Add-Ons Shop before arrival.

  • Children 5 and under attend free.

  • Guests may bring snacks, books, games, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Flower picking is limited to the included mason jar unless additional flowers have been purchased.

  • Reservations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another group by emailing us in advance.

  • Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled or issued as farm credit.

Yoga in the Dahlias

By participating in Yoga in the Dahlias, I acknowledge and agree that:

  • I voluntarily participate at my own risk.

  • I understand yoga is a physical activity and may involve risk of injury.

  • I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate.

  • I understand the instructor is not providing medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • I will stop or modify any movement that causes pain or discomfort.

  • I understand I am never required to perform any movement suggested by the instructor.

  • I will notify the instructor before class of any injury, illness, pregnancy, or medical condition that may affect my participation.

  • I release Blissful Blooms Flower Farm, the instructor, employees, volunteers, and partners from liability arising from my participation except where prohibited by law.

Additional Rules

  • Minimum purchase of two tickets per order.

  • One parking space is included per order.

  • Bring your own yoga mat, blanket or towel, water bottle, and any cushions you wish to use.

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.

  • If Blissful Blooms Flower Farm cancels the class due to weather, guests will receive a full refund.

Photography Sessions

  • Photography sessions include exclusive access to the designated photography area during your reserved one-hour booking.

  • Please arrive no more than five minutes before your scheduled session.

  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrivals do not receive additional time.

  • Photographers are responsible for their own equipment, clients, and children attending.

  • Please remain within designated photography areas.

  • Flowers may not be picked or cut unless a U-Pick add-on has been purchased.

  • Props are welcome provided they do not damage flowers or interfere with the farm.

  • Confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, open flames, and fireworks are prohibited.

  • Drones are not permitted without prior written approval.

  • Photography sessions are self-guided. No photographer is provided.

  • Sessions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

  • If Blissful Blooms Flower Farm cancels due to severe weather, your session will be rescheduled.

Reserve the Dahlia Field

  • Minimum booking is three hours.

  • Rental includes exclusive use of the field during your reservation.

  • Parking is available for up to ten vehicles.

  • Guests may bring food, non-alcoholic beverages, games, and decorations.

  • Decorations must be removed before departure.

  • Confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, fireworks, sky lanterns, and open flames are prohibited.

  • Music must remain at a respectful volume.

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning the area before departure.

  • Flower picking is only permitted if U-Pick tickets have been purchased.

  • Damage to flowers or property may result in repair or replacement charges.

  • Cancellation and weather policies are as listed on the booking page.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Because our experiences have limited availability and are held during a short seasonal bloom, all bookings are subject to the following cancellation policy.

Ticketed Events

(Paint Night, Date Night, Picnic in the Dahlias, Yoga in the Dahlias, and Photography Sessions)

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another guest by emailing us before your scheduled event with the new guest's name and contact information.

  • If Blissful Blooms Flower Farm cancels or reschedules an event due to severe weather or unsafe conditions, guests will receive the remedy outlined on the event's booking page (such as a refund, rescheduled date, or farm credit).

Reserve the Dahlia Field

  • Cancellations made 10 or more days before the reservation date are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 7 to 9 days before the reservation date are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the reservation are non-refundable.

  • If Blissful Blooms Flower Farm cancels or postpones the rental due to severe weather or unsafe field conditions, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Weather

All experiences are held outdoors and are weather dependent.

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel any event if weather or field conditions could impact the safety of guests, staff, or the quality of the experience.

Weather decisions are made solely by Blissful Blooms Flower Farm.

No-Shows

Guests who do not attend their scheduled reservation or arrive after their reservation has ended will be considered a no-show. No refunds, credits, or rescheduled bookings will be provided.

Booking Changes

Requests to transfer a booking to another guest must be made by email before the scheduled event. Changes are subject to the policies for the specific experience and cannot be guaranteed after the event has begun.

7. Force Majeure

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, flooding, fire, power outages, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest who fails to follow these Terms & Conditions or whose behaviour jeopardizes the safety of guests, staff, or the farm.

No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
