Tuber Sale Terms & Conditions

Thank you for supporting our small farm! Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing an order for dahlia tubers from Blissful Blooms Flower Farm. By purchasing from us, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Tuber Guarantee

Your happiness is important to us!

We guarantee that all dahlia tubers:

  • Are true to variety (true to ID)

  • Arrive with at least one visible eye

Dahlia tubers are living products, and their performance after planting depends on many factors including weather, soil conditions, and care.

Refund & Inspection Policy

  • Please inspect your tubers immediately upon arrival.

  • If you have any concerns, contact us at Samantha@blissfulbloomsflowerfarm.com within 3 days of your order arriving.

  • Clear photos of the issue are required so we can best assess and help resolve the situation.

After the 3-day inspection period has passed, you accept full responsibility for your tubers.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • No refunds for gall concerns: Tubers will not be refunded if you think they have gall straight out of the packaging.

  • Inspection before shipping: Every tuber is checked for fused eyes; we do not sell tubers that could have gall.

  • Multiple sprouts are normal: Tubers ship mostly fully awake, which can cause multiple sprouts. Broken sprouts can regrow, creating more sprouts.

  • Vigorous growth: Multiple sprouts are not gall; they show the tuber is healthy and vigorous.

  • Lenticels are normal: Small raised spots or bumps on tubers, called lenticels, are natural and not a sign of disease.

  • Misinformation on social media: Due to incorrect Facebook posts about gall, we won’t refund for tubers just because they have multiple sprouts.

  • Refunds only for freezing damage: We only refund if a tuber rots due to freezing during transit.

  • No refunds for appearance: We won’t refund if you don’t like how a tuber looks upon arrival.

  • No shipping refunds: Shipping costs are never refunded.

  • Viruses: Tubers can get viruses from pests like thrips; we aren’t responsible for virus damage.

  • Sanitation efforts: We practice sanitization and regularly remove plants showing virus.

Dahlia Tuber Shipping

  • We ship within Canada only.

  • Tubers ship in End of April/Early May, once freezing temperatures have passed.

  • We do not offer early shipping.

Combining Orders

  • We only combine orders with the same billing and shipping name and address. Use code “COMBINE” when checking out to avoid being charged shipping fees again. Please send us an email with your order numbers. Combined orders with a total of over 200$ will not get Free Shipping. It must be the total of a single order.

Shipping Cost

  • $21 flat rate per order

  • FREE shipping on orders over 200$

Farm Pickup

  • Please select the farm pickup option at Checkout.

  • Farm pick-up will be mid-April, we will email you with pickup information.

  • If you would like to pick-up your order earlier, please email us to arrange a day/time.

Cart & Order Confirmation

  • Items in your cart are not reserved.

  • Your order is confirmed only after checkout is completed and you receive an order confirmation email and number.

  • We do not accommodate cart holds.

Substitutions

We do not offer substitutions due to stock loss.

If an unexpected issue occurs during storage between ordering and shipping, we will issue a refund for the affected tuber(s).

Replacements

Due to logistics, we do not offer replacement tubers.

If a refund is warranted, we will refund the full purchase price of the tuber(s).

Cancellations

  • Cancellations are allowed within 14 days of placing your order.

  • All approved cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Inappropriate Conduct

We take customer service seriously and strive to treat every customer with respect and kindness.

If communication from a customer (email, DM, or otherwise) includes threats, verbal abuse, or demeaning language, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service

  • Cancel future orders

Agreement

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
