The owner of Blissful Blooms Flower Farm. Samantha Hildbrand.

Hey flower friends! I’m Sam, a flower & animal loving, born and raised farm girl. My small-scale flower farm is located on my parents dairy farm in St-Albert Ontario, about 30 mins east of Ottawa.

I specialize in growing a range of seasonal cut flowers but mostly lots of DAHLIAS. My absolute favourite.

For my locals, I offer seasonal bouquets & subscriptions as well as DIY bulk buckets for weddings or events.

I teach all my Flower enthusiasts all my tips and tricks in my FREE Growing Guides. We also offer a yearly tuber sale with over 30 varieties and bulk orders for Ottawa Area florists.

I am recently learning to prioritize my mental & physical health and finding a work/life balance after recently being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Growing a range of stunning flowers allows me to disconnect from the craziness of life while finding a great sense of achievement.

When I’m not growing flowers, I enjoy working on my family’s dairy farm, listening to an inspiring podcast or spending some time with loved ones.

WHY I STARTED THIS FARM:

I started Blissful Blooms with the goal of providing my community & florists with fresh local flowers. I fell in love with Dahlias because they are the prettiest flower (in my opinion) with unlimited hybridization opportunities and an amazing genetic diversity!

I love seeing the smile on everyone’s face when they see my Dahlias. They’re only here for 2 to 3 months but they are absolutely worth all the work!
