Our Farm Events are thoughtfully curated, small-scale experiences held during peak bloom season from mid-August to late September. Each offering is designed to let you slow down, connect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of thousands of dahlias in a private, intimate setting.

Because our field has limited parking, all experiences are pre-booked only and will sell out in advance.

Before you visit

To help us protect our flowers and create a beautiful experience for everyone, we kindly ask guests to follow these guidelines:

Respect the flowers
Please only pick flowers that are included with your experience. Do not walk through planted rows unless directed by our team.

Stay on designated paths
The dahlia field is carefully maintained throughout the season. Staying on pathways helps protect the plants and blooms for everyone to enjoy.

Supervise children at all times
Children are welcome at select experiences but must remain with an adult and follow farm guidelines.

No pets in the flower field
For the health of our plants and the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted in the dahlia field unless specifically approved.

No smoking or vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere near the flower fields or event areas.

Leave no trace
Please take all personal belongings and garbage with you when you leave. Help us keep the farm beautiful for future visitors.

Be respectful of other guests
Many of our experiences are designed to be peaceful and intimate. Please help us maintain a relaxing atmosphere.

Where is Blissful Blooms located?

Blissful Blooms Flower Farm is located just east of Ottawa, in St-Albert Ontario. Our farm offers a peaceful countryside escape where guests can enjoy seasonal flower experiences surrounded by thousands of blooming dahlias.

Our events and workshops take place during dahlia season, typically from mid-August through September when the field is at its peak bloom.

When are events held?

Do I need any experience to attend a workshop?

No experience is required! Our workshops are designed for beginners and flower lovers of all skill levels. Whether you are new to floral design, painting, yoga, or creative experiences, you are welcome here.

Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during select experiences, such as picnics and private field rentals.

Please check the details of your specific event before your visit.

Can I bring food or drinks?

Each experience is different, but we recommend:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather

  • Closed-toe shoes for walking in the field

  • Water bottle

  • Any personal items needed for your comfort

For yoga, please bring your own yoga mat.

What should I bring?

Absolutely! We encourage guests to capture their memories among the dahlias. Please be respectful of the flowers, other guests, and designated areas.

Can I take photos at the farm?

What happens if it rains?

Our events take place outdoors, so weather is always considered. If an event needs to be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, guests will be contacted with information about rescheduling or refunds.

Can I pick flowers during my visit?

Flower picking is included with select experiences. Please only cut flowers that are included with your ticket or reservation. Additional U-pick options may be available depending on the experience.

Children are welcome for picnic days. Please check the individual event details, as some workshops and experiences are designed with adults in mind.
